Where has today gone? I remember making pancakes for breakfast, finishing my 10 Christmas cards from my last post, and working on my Occasions Mini Swaps. The next thing I knew I was cooking dinner and giving the kids a bath. Time completely escaped me. Good thing Roger had today off and played with the kids.
While I was working on my newest swaps I realized I had never posted my last Control Freaks swap card. This was my prototype and after I made this one I decided to leave off the doodling on the main image. I couldn’t tell if it added to, or detracted from the main image. The rest of the card I left the same. I love this color combination. It’s so soft and serene. I used Soft Sky, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery and Whisper White card stock, and then used Pumpkin Pie and Rose Red in my watercoloring combo. I stamped my image in Basic Gray before I colored it in.
I don’t know about you, but I am one of those people who can’t stamp for fun until I get my obligations out of the way. I guess I’m a little obsessive in that department. I hopefully will have my next swap assembled completely in the next few days. I will post that here after they have been swapped out.
I hope you all had a productive stamping day. I promise to get caught up on blogs and comments when I have a moment.
