Groovy Blossoms

Today is Colin’s birthday!  I can’t believe he is 5 years old.  The first year it seemed like we kept waiting for him to do something new and exciting.  Then time just flew by.  In the fall he will be starting Kindergarten and riding the school bus to and from school.  He just loves learning and is so excited about it.  Today he is having a little party in his preschool class and picked out cupcakes to take last night.  It seems like his entire class turns 5 this month.  It is crammed packed with birthday parties.

This card was made for the Color Challenge.  It uses Blush Blossom, Basic Gray and Groovy Guava.  I threw in a little Wild Wasabi for stems and the flower pot.  My Pretties flowers were colored in with a Blush blossom stampin’ write marker and then highlighted with  Groovy Guava.  I picked up ink with my blender pen for that.  I added small half pearls with mini glue dots to the flowers.  The sketch is Jen’s Sketch for You to Try from this past Saturday.

I hope you have a great Tuesday.  We finally are getting warmer weather and can hopefully finish putting the kids trampoline together.
