Congrats on Your Big News!

This card showing up on Stamper’s Showcase couldn’t have been better timed seeing as I don’t know if I’ll get stamping time in today or not.  This morning I ended up rushing Evan to the  ER.  He woke us up at 5:15 am and sounded like he was choking.  He spit up some clear mucus stuff and then wanted to sleep on our floor.  At 5:30 he asked for something to drink so Roger gave him some milk.  About 15 minutes later he started breathing really quickly, spiked a fever and threw up his milk.  I got him undressed and into the bathtub, but he just wasn’t himself.  He was acting like the time they think he had a febrile seizure.  I got myself quickly dressed and I rushed both of us to the hospital.   He threw up more mucus there and his fever was 105.  It took about 1 1/2 hours to get it down to 102, but as long as I can keep it down he should be fine.  His left ear is slightly red, so he is on another round of antibiotics and we’ll see our pediatrician tomorrow and the allergist/asthma specialist on Wednesday.

Evan had some Autoimmune testing done last week and we were told it was pretty normal and to follow up with the allergist/asthma specialist as soon as possible.  At least if it is an autoimmune deficiency we can figure out what it is and how to keep him healthy.  He was also tested for possible Cystic Fibrosis, but I’m thinking that is normal since we aren’t going to see a Pulminolgist.  Keep your fingers crossed for him and hope that the results we get aren’t all that bad.

Also keep the people affected by the tornados here in IL in your thoughts.  We had some severe weather and tornados yesterday that ripped through Monee, Richton Park and many of the south Chicago Suburbs.  I know of 3 Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who I know that live in those areas.  I’m hoping that none of them are personally affected by this.

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday and get to stamp!
