Wild Dreams

Posted on

Last night I was starting the grill and playing outside with the boys when the call came in that our car was here!  So we made arrangements to meet my parents at the dealership, have them bring Colin and Evan back home and Roger and I would do all of the paperwork.  We got home around 9:15 last night.  When we picked the car up it had only 3 miles on it.  The dealership was great and explained all of the features, controls and where things were located to us before we left the lot.  I promise to have photos soon.  Tonight I leave for CHA, so I may not get to that right away.

Here is my card for the color challenge.  The combination given to us was Wild Wasabi, Almost Amethyst and So Saffron.  I paired that up the brand new stamp set Dreams du Jour, some retired print patterns and this card was born.  I really like the outcome of it.

Well I have laundry to do and bags to be packed.  If you are going to CHA I can’t wait to hopefully bump into you and meet you.  It should be a fun few days of make and takes and new products.

stamps – Dreams du Jour

paper – Almost Amethyst, So Saffron, Whisper White, Almost Amethyst dsp

ink – So Saffron, Basic Gray, Almost Amethyst, Wild Wasabi

accessories – AquaPainter, Sponge, Ticket corner punch, mat pack, dimensionals, mini glue dots, Fresh Favorites and Neutrals buttons, wild wasabi striped ribbon

  2. this card turned out great! I’ve played with it a bit but so far I’ve only used dark colors, how refreshing these colors are.
