First I’d like to thank all of you who left comments about my fun Wednesday. Yesterday was 100% better. Roger had taken the day off of work, Colin said his ear doesn’t hurt at all anymore and we had Colin’s Team soccer party last night. It was almost like Wednesday never happened. Plus my dishwasher is fixed! The parts came yesterday afternoon and Roger was able to get it in working order again. I’d much prefer the $17 parts to the cost of a new dishwasher.
This weekend is a 4 day weekend for Colin and a 3 day weekend for Roger. The weather is supposed to be perfect – sunny and mid 70’s! I think it’s time to take down the trampoline for the winter, spend some time at the park and maybe go to the zoo. Somewhere in there I will get all of my craft fair items complete.
This card was made with the sketch challenge from SCS. I wanted a nice rich feel and wanted to color in the cone flowers. The top is colored with 3 markers. Starting with the lightest I added Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa and Chocolate Chip. I thnk it adds a nice watercolored look to it. I like that you can use this set as both a silhouette and a colored image.
I hope you all have a great weekend as well.
