It’s Friday and I’m leaving for Minneapolis! Not only did I finish Colin’s birthday invitations, but I got a Baby Shower gift put together for my sister, made 24 swap cards and had a Dr. appointment all in one day. I also have enough posts to get me through the weekend, so you won’t have to go a day without seeing something posted here. What a productive day!

This is the box I am sending to school for Colin’s birthday invitations. The genius behind this box is Becky Robert’s and you can find her tutorials on her blog Inking Idaho.  When I saw this tutorial I fell in love with it and bought it right away.  I have 22 invitations, Rolos and cupcake sprinkles in the box for the sake of the photo.  Colin is having a cupcake party so I took the sprinkles out and added in more Rolos.  His teacher can either have them or he can hand one out with each of the invitations.

Colin picked the colors on these. He wanted blue, chocolate and green. He showed me the ink pads he liked and I pulled the card stock. Then one night during American Idol and Dancing with the Stars I sat down and cut all of the parts out.

Here is the box all tied up and ready to head to school. He’ll take these in next week since his birthday falls over Spring Break. We are having the party the weekend after. It should be fun. He’s already asked if we can do a pin the cherry on the cupcake game. I guess I have more to cut out then.

Have a great Friday. I’ll be checking in via my phone but I don’t know how successful I’ll be at that. I can read comments that way, I’m not sure about moderating those that need to be done, but I’m sure Roger will help out.
