One Cupcake or Two?

Last night I played along with the Virtual Stamp Night Challenges on SCS. They are a lot of fun and since you only have 45 minutes to complete each challenge I stuck with Clean and Simple Sketches. All of the sketches on these cards are from Clean and Simple Stamping.

The first challenge was to make 2 of the same card.  The other rule was they had to have fun colors and there was a list of possible themes.  One was food, so I went with my cupcake stamp from Wagon Full of Fun and the Sentiment from Sweet Little Sentiments.  Paired with Walk in the Park designer series paper I love how it turned out.

The second challenge was to make a wedding card with non-traditional bright colors. I don’t know if this is really considered bright, but it is to me. I used Pixie Pink paper and Pink Passion ink. Two colors I rarely use just because they are out of my comfort zone. I paired it with Old Olive and Kraft and to me these are non-traditional wedding colors.

The third challenge was to use Red, Black and White. I chose Riding Hood Red, Basic Black, Whisper White and some Candy Lane designer series paper. The stamps are from A Beautiful Thing and Very Versatile. It’s nice and simple, but yet it makes a bold statement.

This 4th card is based on a late night snack with Elvis of fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches. The card had to include music and the colors Barely Banana, Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa. I didn’t have any music stamps so I drew in a few notes that the little bird is singing. I did stick to the color scheme.
