Luck of the Irish

Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day and to celebrate we are having our corned beef and cabbage dinner and then hopefully some minty green dessert. It’s normally tradition to go to Culver’s and get a shake or concrete mixer and eat it outside while enjoying the warm spring weather. Well it looks like we’ll be getting that warm spring weather as they are predicting upper 60’s for tomorrow!

In making a St. Patrick’s Day card I realized I didn’t have any stamps to go with the holiday. Instead I used the good luck stamp from So Happy for You and created my shamrock out of hearts embossed with the Polka dot embossing folder. I used a button to hide the point where all of the hearts came together and we were good. I used Crumb Cake, Garden Green and Naturals White for the card. The ribbon is Old Olive satin ribbon.

Well I’m off to the Y. Last night Roger and I played Racquetball and while doing so were wondering how many calories you burn in an hour. We were surprised to find it’s between 500 and 800! I plugged it into my WW Activity Tracker and earned 12 extra points. Today I’m going to lift weights. Hopefully it will loosen my tired muscles up a bit.

Tomorrow I have a gorgeous creation using some Papertrey Ink stamps and Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. You won’t want to miss it!
